Popup Menus for Lotus Approach

Trial Version | Ordering | Order Online

NWPopup displays popup menus and returns the operator's selection. It supports unlimited levels of cascading submenus with full control over each menu's contents. It can be used with any version of Approach from release 97 onwards.

NWPopup is a free standing component, distributed as a LSO file (compiled LotusScript code) and reusable in any number of Approach applications. NWPopup is an extension to Approach's Object Model. You use NWPopup just as you would any of the standard classes, by setting its properties and calling its methods. When you add NWPopup to a document, it becomes part of the development and run-time environment and provides new functionality for your application.

NWPopup leverages your capabilities as a developer by giving you easy access to the functionality of popup menus whilst retaining your familiar programming environment. A NWPopup menu is context independent and can de displayed from any event in the Approach object model. It provides a professional user interface whilst occupying the minimal amount of view space. You can replace all the buttons on a crowded form or even an entire menu form with a single icon that when clicked, displays a popup menu.

All Northwind products are licensed on a per-developer basis and include a royalty-free runtime distribution licence. This simple approach frees companies from the accounting complexities of runtime fees and royalties. Simply purchase a development licence for each person using the product and get a royalty-free runtime licence included at no extra charge.

NWPopup requires knowledge of LotusScript but you don't have to be a developer yourself to enjoy its benefits. Northwind IT Systems provides comprehensive consulting and development services to help you achieve your project goals.

NWPopup provides the XPop object which represents a popup menu and all its items and submenus. NWPopup supports unlimited levels of submenus.

XPop object

  • Represents a top-level popup menu and all the items and submenus contained by it.
  • Provides methods to add submenus or command items.
