Lotus Approach versions 9.5 to 9.7 contain a bug where Lotus Dialogs are not loaded into memory when an Approach file is opened from a shortcut or Explorer in the first Approach session after the computer is started. When this happens, any LotusScript procedures that open a dialog will raise a bogus run-time error.

AprProxy provides a solution to this problem by launching Approach as an OLE automation server and opening the Approach file specified in the command line. You just need to create a shortcut to AprProxy.exe instead of the Approach file. Full instructions are in the Readme file.
